Learn More About Therapy With Me
Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, especially when you’ve been carrying a lot on your own for a long time. Many clients come in feeling stuck in patterns they don’t fully understand, whether in relationships, emotions, or self-perception. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, understood, and supported from the very beginning.
I believe that your reactions make sense in the context of your life experiences. You are not broken, you are responding in ways that once helped you cope. In therapy, we gently explore those patterns while building new ways of thinking, communicating, and responding that feel more aligned with the life you want.
My approach is collaborative and grounded in real-life application. Together, we focus on emotional awareness, communication, boundaries, and coping tools that you can actually use outside of sessions. Over time, clients often notice greater clarity, improved relationships, and a stronger sense of emotional stability and self-trust.

My approach is warm, supportive, and collaborative. I draw from evidence-based practices while keeping therapy practical and human-centered. I focus on helping clients understand themselves more deeply, strengthen relationships, and build tools for emotional resilience and growth.
Outside of my clinical work, I am passionate about supporting individuals in finding clarity, healing, and a stronger connection to themselves and their lives.

Professional Profile
Hello, and welcome to The Empowering Space, a space I founded in 2020 with the vision of mentoring future clinicians and expanding access to equitable, high-quality mental health services.
Originally from Greenville, Mississippi, I bring over a decade of experience as a Licensed Clinical and Independent Social Worker, a board-approved supervisor, and a mentor to emerging professionals. My career has spanned clinical care, military behavioral health, higher education, and leadership development, allowing me to bridge the gap between academic preparation and real-world practice.
Today, I serve as a Senior Social Worker with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and as a Behavioral Health Officer in the U.S. Army National Guard, where I continue my mission of advocating for holistic care and empowering the next generation of social workers.
Whether you’re a client seeking compassionate behavioral health support or a clinician pursuing professional growth, I’m honored to walk alongside you as you take your next step forward.
