Learn More About Therapy With Me

Life can bring moments where everything feels heavier than expected. You may be navigating sadness that won’t lift, stress that feels constant, or transitions that leave you questioning your confidence and direction. Therapy can offer a steady, supportive space to slow down, reflect, and begin rebuilding a sense of balance.

I work with adolescents and adults who are managing depression, anxiety, self-esteem challenges, trauma, and life changes. My approach is collaborative and strengths-based, helping you explore what you’re experiencing while also identifying the tools and inner resources you already carry. Sessions are paced thoughtfully and grounded in compassion, allowing you to feel supported without pressure.

About Ayisha Mullen, LMSW

Hi! My name is Ayisha, and I’m so honored that you’re considering me to be part of your
wellness journey. I’m originally from Southern California, and after a chapter of my adult life in New Mexico, I now call the DFW area home.

I’m passionate about supporting women through moments that feel uncertain or overwhelming, bringing a genuine sense of care and hope to every session.

I began working in therapeutic and supportive roles during graduate school, building on
earlier experiences mentoring young women and their mothers in my church as a teenager.
Those early experiences, though informal at the time, helped me understand the impact of
connection and guidance, and they continue to shape how I show up for the women I work
with today.

Over the past 10+ years, I’ve continued this work professionally, empowering women of all ages to navigate life transitions, depression, stress, anxiety, self-esteem and
identity challenges, and other issues that affect their well-being.

I blend person-centered care with evidence-based approaches, including, but not limited to,
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, and Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT). My
approach is collaborative and trauma-informed, helping you explore challenges with
curiosity and compassion.

Many women I work with share that they gain increased self-confidence, emotional resilience, and a clearer sense of direction. These are reminders that meaningful change is possible. What you’re feeling isn’t weakness. It’s part of being human and a signal that growth is achievable.

Outside of work I enjoy watching sunsets, spending time with my husband and family,
reading, trying new foods, and turning everyday moments into songs, even sneezes
Achooooo ooooo, because life is meant to be celebrated in small, joyful ways.

About Me

Hi! My name is Ayisha, and I’m so honored that you’re considering me to be part of your wellness journey, or the journey of someone important to you.

A little about me: I’m originally from sunny Southern California and settled in the DFW area by way of New Mexico in 2018. I’ve always found great joy in supporting and empowering adolescents, families, and women of all ages. I earned my bachelor’s degree in psychology from California State University of Long Beach and a master’s degree in social work from New Mexico Highlands University.

I’m passionate about walking with individuals through the ever-changing seasons of life. Sometimes life can leave you feeling winded, overwhelmed, and uncertain of how to move forward, and therapy can be a great way to navigate these realities.

With over 10 years of experience in diverse social service settings, some of my work has included supporting those dealing with self-esteem, anxiety, depression, life transitions, trauma, stress management, and women’s issues, all through a person-centered, strengths-based lens.

I frequently use techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT) to help guide individuals toward healing and growth.

It’s truly a privilege and a blessing to be entrusted with your care during these pivotal moments. Together, we’ll work to create lasting, positive change and cultivate resilience, no matter what you’re facing.
