About Me
Hi! My name is Ayisha, and I’m so honored that you’re considering me to be part of your wellness journey, or the journey of someone important to you.
A little about me: I’m originally from sunny Southern California and settled in the DFW area by way of New Mexico in 2018. I’ve always found great joy in supporting and empowering adolescents, families, and women of all ages. I earned my bachelor’s degree in psychology from California State University of Long Beach and a master’s degree in social work from New Mexico Highlands University.
I’m passionate about walking with individuals through the ever-changing seasons of life. Sometimes life can leave you feeling winded, overwhelmed, and uncertain of how to move forward, and therapy can be a great way to navigate these realities.
With over 10 years of experience in diverse social service settings, some of my work has included supporting those dealing with self-esteem, anxiety, depression, life transitions, trauma, stress management, and women’s issues, all through a person-centered, strengths-based lens.
I frequently use techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT) to help guide individuals toward healing and growth.
It’s truly a privilege and a blessing to be entrusted with your care during these pivotal moments. Together, we’ll work to create lasting, positive change and cultivate resilience, no matter what you’re facing.
