Learn More About Therapy With Me

Life can feel overwhelming when stress, anxiety, or self-doubt start to take over. You may find yourself questioning your worth, feeling disconnected from who you are, or struggling to manage the demands placed on you. Therapy can offer a space to pause, reflect, and begin rebuilding balance.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and culturally responsive. I work with clients to better understand how thoughts, emotions, and behaviors interact, and to develop practical tools that support emotional stability and personal growth. Sessions are paced thoughtfully and grounded in compassion, helping you feel supported as you move through change.

With experience in both higher education and community mental health settings, I understand the unique pressures faced by students, young adults, and adults navigating complex roles. My goal is to help you feel seen, supported, and empowered to move forward with clarity and confidence.

About Brandy Stockton, LMSW

Hi, I’m Brandy Stockton, a Licensed Master Social Worker and the Assistant Director of Counseling and Wellness at the University of North Texas at Dallas. I’ve spent over a decade working in higher education and community mental health, supporting individuals as they navigate stress, identity development, and life transitions.

My work is grounded in a collaborative, culturally responsive approach. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness practices, and strengths-based counseling to help clients better understand their thoughts, emotions, and patterns. Together, we focus on building self-awareness, emotional balance, and practical tools that support growth both in and outside of session.

I’m especially passionate about working with adults and young adults who may be feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or uncertain about their next steps. Therapy with me is a space where you can slow down, reflect honestly, and feel supported as you move through change.

My goal is to help you feel seen, capable, and empowered to navigate life with greater clarity and confidence.
