About Me
Hi, I’m Brandy Stockton, a Licensed Master Social Worker and Assistant Director of Counseling and Wellness at the University of North Texas at Dallas. I’ve dedicated my career to helping individuals build resilience, develop self-awareness, and find balance in both their personal and professional lives.
My therapeutic approach is warm, collaborative, and culturally responsive. I often draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness practices to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, identity challenges, or stress, I work to create a supportive environment where you can process openly and feel empowered to grow.
With more than a decade of experience in higher education and community counseling, I understand the complexities of modern life, especially for students and adults juggling multiple roles. My goal is to help you feel seen, supported, and capable of thriving through change.
