Dee ‘lilD’ Porter is a radio personality, writer, actress, and content creator. Winning radio rap contests landed her a radio co-host gig in her hometown of Shreveport, LA.  From Louisiana, lilD established herself in Ohio, taking over airwaves – and producing top ratings – for the next ten years and three cities. She is still flown back to host events in Ohio. In 2018, lilD was promoted to Dallas, and in 2021, the leading hip-hop station, K104, wasted no time recruiting her for their midday position.

Known for her down-to-earth personality and “keep-it-real” attitude, lilD is an interviewee’s favorite, as she’s known to inquire deeper than the surface. She hosts events, creates content and social media strategies for various businesses, and ghostwrites books. Porter is ghostwriting a book for the DJ of a very influential rapper and entrepreneur.

Since 2014, she’s been running her organization, You Go G.I.R.L. (Grinding In Real Life), where the mission is to help good girls become great women. One of the ways this is recognized is through her “12 Days of Christmas” program, where 12 girls are selected to shadow women in their desired career field and live their dreams for a day.  lilD organized, executed, and sold out her first 5-city book tour. Covering the three-month period where she chose to be homeless to keep her radio job, her book Route 2: My Choice to Struggle to Succeed is available now. Charlamagne Tha God penned the foreword. The book speaks to the mentality of someone willing to bet on themselves and risk everything to follow their radio dream.

In 2023, One of her dreams was realized when she co-hosted the nationally syndicated radio show “The Breakfast Club,” which airs in over 100 cities and BET. As a standout cohost on the show, a soundbite of co-host DJ Envy saying “I like lilD” can still be heard several times a week.

Knowing she gets it from her mama, she’s also found a way to include “Momma Dee” into her content. Her mother was an immediate fan favorite, a testament to lilD’s creative eye and editing skills.
