Learn More About Therapy With Me
Life can bring moments of uncertainty, stress, and emotional overwhelm. You may be navigating change, feeling stuck, or simply needing a space where you can slow down and be heard. Therapy can offer a supportive environment to explore these experiences and begin building clarity and confidence.
As a social work intern, my goal is to meet you where you are, listen with empathy, and work collaboratively to help you build resilience and healthy coping skills. Sessions are paced thoughtfully and grounded in compassion, creating space for validation, growth, and empowerment.
Whether you’re navigating a life transition, emotional challenge, or personal goal, you don’t have to do it alone. Support is available, and you deserve care that feels safe and accessible.
About Dystany Fontanez, MSW Intern
Hello, I’m Dystany, a Master of Social Work intern with a strong commitment to providing affordable, compassionate mental health care. I believe everyone deserves a welcoming, judgment-free space where they feel respected, supported, and empowered throughout their therapeutic journey.
In addition to pursuing my degree, I currently serve on active duty in the armed forces. This experience has deepened my understanding of stress, unresolved trauma, and the importance of strong support systems, particularly during times of transition and uncertainty. It has also strengthened my passion for supporting individuals through emotional challenges and personal growth.
Outside of sessions, I enjoy working out, exploring new places to eat, attending concerts and basketball games, and spending time with my husband and our two children. I’m grateful you’re here and would be honored to support you on your journey.
