About Me
Hi, I’m Roxana Gonzalez, a Licensed Master Social Worker and bilingual therapist based in El Paso, Texas. As a Mexican American cisgender woman raised in the vibrant Borderland between El Paso and Chihuahua, I bring a deep understanding of multicultural identity, resilience, and the power of connection.
I’ve dedicated my career to supporting individuals, families, and communities through challenging seasons of life, particularly those impacted by trauma, anger, or cultural identity stress. My approach blends Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and Trauma-Informed Care, always centering safety, compassion, and empowerment.
Over the past eight years, I’ve worked across nonprofit organizations, community agencies, and behavioral health settings, providing care to people from all walks of life. I currently serve at El Paso Community College’s EPCC Cares Center, offering counseling and social services to students balancing academics, mental health, and personal challenges.
In addition to my professional life, I love baking pastries, experimenting with new recipes, and relaxing with a good movie or series, often with my favorite cup of tea. Spending time with family and friends keeps me grounded and reminds me of the value of joy, rest, and human connection. These values guide my practice and the way I show up for every client I meet.
My goal as a therapist is simple: to help you find balance, understanding, and control over your emotions so you can live with more peace, authenticity, and confidence.
