Hello! I’m Chiquita Golden, Founder and CEO of Business Essentials Virtual Services LLC, and Lead Administrative Support for The Empowering Space PLLC. With over 20 years of Blue Cross/Blue Shield insurance experience in operations and enrollment, I shifted my focus to behavioral health administration after retiring in 2009 to pursue my passion.

To enhance my expertise, I earned both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in healthcare administration between 2010 and 2012. While studying, I worked as a mental health billing specialist in my sister’s practice, which solidified my commitment to supporting licensed professionals in the mental health field.

In 2012, I launched Business Essentials Virtual Services, assembling a dedicated team to support behavioral health therapists in private practice with services such as appointment scheduling, insurance billing, verification, and accounts receivable management. This allows practitioners to concentrate on their clients needs.

In 2020, we partnered with The Empowering Space, becoming their primary administrative support team. This collaboration has been immensely rewarding, allowing us to use our skills to foster growth within this essential organization. Our commitment to excellence has positively impacted the therapists we support, enabling them to deliver exceptional care.
